vivo has officially unveiled its latest imaging-focused flagships, the vivo X300 and X300 Pro, in China. Co-developed with ZEISS, the new X series represents a major leap in mobile photography, performance, and system design, further cementing vivo’s position as a leader in imaging innovation.
At the heart of the series is the vivo X300 Pro, which introduces an industry-first triple-sensor system featuring the jointly developed Sony LYT-828, Sony LYT-602, and Samsung HPB. The 50MP main camera uses the LYT-828 sensor with a 1/1.28-inch large sensor and f/1.57 aperture, complemented by gimbal-level stabilization, CIPA 5.5-grade anti-shake, and ZEISS T* coating for top-tier clarity.

The 200MP Samsung HPB telephoto sensor, co-engineered with Samsung, enables 4K 60fps Dolby Vision video, a new Stage Mode, and a “Beauty Shot During Video” function that enhances portraits mid-recording. The front camera also gets ZEISS certification for the first time in the X series — a 50MP autofocus wide-angle lens with a 92° field of view.
Other pro-grade imaging tools include 20× telephoto motion capture, ZEISS Mirotar bokeh, AI Scene Master, and support for 10-bit Log video.

Performance-wise, the X300 Pro is the first smartphone powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 9500 chipset, paired with up to 16GB RAM and 512GB storage. It also debuts vivo’s Imaging Chip V3+ and VS1 dual-chip architecture, now tightly integrated with the Dimensity platform for faster and more efficient image processing. vivo announced it will open its imaging platform to the wider industry to foster ecosystem growth.
This combination enables the X300 series to record 4K 60fps cold-tone portraits, 4K 120fps Dolby Vision, and HDR10+ video, along with enhanced ZEISS Natural Portrait styles.
The X300 Pro houses a 6510mAh Blue Ocean battery supporting 90W wired and 40W wireless charging. Its 6.78-inch 8T LTPO display features a 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10+, Dolby Vision, Netflix HDR certification, SGS low blue light, and TÜV Rheinland flicker-free certifications. It is also rated IP68 and IP69 for water and dust resistance.
Both models run OriginOS 6 based on Android 16, introducing the new Origin Design interface, Blue River smooth performance engine, and vivo Office Kit productivity suite. The system also breaks ecosystem barriers with iOS, offering cross-platform connectivity.

The standard vivo X300 — nicknamed the “mini imaging king” — shares the same Dimensity 9500 chip, with up to 16GB RAM and 512GB storage. It features a 200MP ZEISS main sensor, 50MP APO telephoto (LYT-602), and 50MP ultra-wide lens, along with a 50MP ZEISS front camera supporting 4K 120fps video, dual-view mode, and AI Scene Master.

A new ZEISS 2.35x optical extender lens is also available, adapting to portraits, landscapes, and pro photography — effectively acting as the phone’s fifth lens.
The X300 includes a 6040mAh Blue Ocean battery, 90W wired, and 40W wireless charging. Its 6.31-inch 8T LTPO display delivers 1216×2640 resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10+, and Netflix HDR certification. The device measures 150.57 × 71.92 × 7.95mm, weighs 190g, and comes in five colors — black, blue, purple, pink, and red — with IP68 and IP69 ratings.
Both phones support dual stereo speakers, USB 3.2 Gen 1, NFC, and Wi-Fi 6 / Wi-Fi 7 (the Pro supports up to 6GHz).
According to vivo, the X300 series ushers in a new era of 200MP multi-focal imaging, while the combined optimization of OriginOS 6 and the Dimensity 9500 ensures a smoother, more intelligent flagship experience. The international version of OriginOS 6 is set to launch on October 15, with more updates expected soon.
