HONOR Magic8 and Magic8 Pro Debut in China
HONOR has officially launched its next-generation flagship smartphones, the HONOR Magic8 and HONOR Magic8 Pro, in China. The new Magic8 Series introduces an AI Button, Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, and enhanced imaging systems, marking a major step in HONOR’s AI-driven device ecosystem.
HONOR Magic8 Pro: Flagship Power and Next-Gen AI
The HONOR Magic8 Pro headlines the lineup with a powerful triple rear camera setup, featuring:
-
200MP telephoto camera (1/1.4-inch sensor, f/2.6 aperture, 3.7x optical zoom, OIS)
-
50MP main camera (1/1.3-inch sensor, f/1.6 aperture, OIS)
-
50MP ultra-wide lens with a 122° field of view

On the front, it sports a 6.71-inch LTPO OLED display with 120Hz refresh rate, 2808 x 1256 resolution, and 6,000 nits peak brightness — among the brightest displays in its class. It also houses a 50MP front camera paired with a 3D depth sensor for secure face recognition, alongside a 3D ultrasonic fingerprint scanner.
Powering the Magic8 Pro is a massive 7,200mAh Silicon-Carbon (Si-C) battery, supporting 100W wired and 80W wireless charging. The European version features a slightly smaller 6,270mAh cell.
Running on MagicOS 10, the Magic8 Pro introduces new AI-driven features powered by HONOR’s YOYO Agent. The all-new AI Button allows users to instantly activate the assistant with a long press or customize it for quick actions.
The device also comes with IP68/IP69/IP69K water and dust resistance, available in Sunrise Gold, Sky Cyan, and Black. It measures 8.4mm thick and weighs 213g.
HONOR Magic8: Flagship DNA in a Compact Design
The standard HONOR Magic8 shares the same Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor and MagicOS 10 experience, offering flagship-level performance in a smaller package. It features a 6.58-inch LTPO OLED display with the same 120Hz refresh rate and HDR capabilities as the Pro.

The rear camera setup includes:
-
50MP main sensor (1/1.56-inch, OIS)
-
50MP ultra-wide camera
-
64MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom
For selfies, the Magic8 is equipped with a 50MP front camera, though it lacks the 3D depth sensor found on the Pro. However, it retains the ultrasonic fingerprint scanner for secure authentication.
Battery capacity comes in at 7,000mAh, supporting 90W wired and 80W wireless charging. The device is also available in Sunrise Gold, Sky Cyan, and Black.
