Samsung Malaysia has officially launched the highly anticipated Galaxy S25 FE, debuting simultaneously with the global release.
While positioned as a “Fan Edition” , the device now mirrors the premium Galaxy S25 series in hardware, AI features, and long-term software support.
The Galaxy S25 FE sports a sleek design consistent with the S25 lineup, featuring Gorilla Glass Victus+ on both sides, an aluminum frame, and IP68 dust and water resistance. It weighs around 190g with a slim 7.4mm profile, and comes in four refined colors: Navy Blue, Ice Blue, Black, and White.
At its core is Samsung’s 4nm Exynos 2400 chipset paired with the Xclipse 940 GPU, enabling hardware-level ray tracing. Memory options include 8GB RAM with 128GB, 256GB, or 512GB UFS 4.0 storage, and USB 3.2 high-speed transfers. A larger vapor chamber cooling system ensures sustained performance.
The 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X flat display delivers 1080×2340 resolution, adaptive 120Hz refresh rate, 240Hz touch sampling, and peak brightness of 1900 nits for improved outdoor visibility. It also integrates a second-generation ultrasonic fingerprint sensor with faster and more reliable unlocking.
Photography is handled by a triple camera setup: a 50MP OIS main sensor, 8MP 3x telephoto with OIS, and a 12MP ultrawide, while the 12MP front camera supports 4K video at 60fps. The rear system supports up to 8K 30fps and 4K 120fps recording, enhanced by Galaxy AI and ProVisual Engine for better night shots, detail recovery, and smart framing. New features include Audio Eraser to remove background noise from videos and “Best Take” to optimize group shots.
AI capabilities are on par with the flagship S25, offering Circle to Search, Interpreter, Note Assist, Chat Assist, Now Brief, and deeper Gemini Live integration for natural conversations and cross-app tasks. The Now Bar adds quick access tools on the lock screen for easier one-handed use.
Battery life sees a notable upgrade with a 4900mAh silicon-carbon anode cell, 45W wired charging (65% in about 30 minutes), 15W wireless charging, and reverse wireless charging, backed by an enhanced cooling system for stable performance.
Out of the box, the Galaxy S25 FE runs Android 15 with One UI 7, and Samsung promises up to seven major Android upgrades and long-term security updates, putting it among the top in Android support.
In Malaysia, the Samsung Galaxy S25 FE is available in two storage variants—256GB and 512GB—priced at RM3,099 and RM3,699 respectively. It comes in four color options: Navy, Jet Black, Icy Blue, and White. Nationwide sales begin on September 19.
Alongside the smartphone, Samsung also introduced the Galaxy Buds 3 FE, a new Fan Edition true wireless earbud with a stem design, 11mm drivers, six-microphone array, enhanced ANC (up to 32dB), Bluetooth 5.4, and Galaxy AI-powered real-time translation. The earbuds deliver up to 8.5 hours of playback per charge (30 hours with case), come in black and white, and carry IP54 dust and water resistance.
