In a global Galaxy Event today, Samsung has officially unveiled its latest flagship tablets, the Galaxy Tab S11 series, with Malaysia among the first launch markets.
Interestingly, this year’s lineup skips the usual “Plus” model, leaving only the standard Galaxy Tab S11 and the high-end Tab S11 Ultra. The major difference between these tablets lies in their display and battery sizes.

First up is the vanilla Galaxy Tab S11 , it features an 11-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with 2560×1600 resolution, 120Hz adaptive refresh rate, HDR10+ support, and peak brightness of 1750 nits.

The slim device measures just 5.5mm thick, weighs around 482g, and comes with Gorilla Glass panels, an Armor Aluminum frame, and IP68 water and dust resistance.
Powering the tablet is the 3nm MediaTek Dimensity 9400 processor with Immortalis-G925 GPU and a next-gen NPU. It comes with 12GB of RAM and storage options of 128GB, 256GB, or 512GB (UFS 4.0), expandable via microSD.

The 8400mAh battery supports 45W fast charging. Camera hardware includes a 13MP main sensor and 8MP ultrawide at the rear, plus a 12MP ultrawide selfie camera, all supporting 4K video recording. Other highlights include quad speakers tuned by AKG with Dolby Atmos and a low-latency S Pen (as little as 2.8ms).

The Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra takes things further with a massive 14.6-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display at 2960×1848 resolution, ultra-thin bezels, and a waterdrop notch for its front camera.

It shares the same Dimensity 9400 platform but offers higher configurations: up to 16GB RAM and 1TB storage (starting at 256GB). Despite its size, the Ultra is just 5.5mm thick, weighs 732g, and houses a larger 11,600mAh battery with 45W fast charging.
Both tablets run Android 15 with One UI 7 and promise seven generations of Android upgrades along with extended security support, putting them at the forefront of long-term Android devices.

Samsung is also extending its Galaxy AI suite to tablets, including Circle to Search, Interpreter, Note Assist, Transcript Assist, Chat Assist, and Now Brief personalized summaries.

The latest Gemini Live integration allows more natural voice interaction and cross-app AI functions such as generating summaries within documents or translating full webpages.
On top of that, Samsung’s DeX desktop mode gets a major upgrade this year, supporting more simultaneous windows, better multi-device collaboration, and seamless connectivity between Galaxy smartphones and Windows PCs.
