REDMI has launched the K100 in China, pairing a 10,000mAh battery with a 165Hz display. Xiaomi’s Chinese website currently lists the phone from CNY3,499.

The standard K100 focuses on gaming and endurance, with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite processor and a dedicated D2 gaming display chip.

165Hz display and gaming hardware

The phone has a 6.83-inch flat 1.5K display with up to 165Hz refresh rate and a claimed peak brightness of 3,500 nits. Full-brightness DC dimming and Xiaomi’s eye-care features are also included.

Its Snapdragon 8 Elite is paired with LPDDR5X Ultra memory and UFS 4.1 storage. The D2 chip enables features such as frame interpolation and super-resolution in compatible games. The highest frame rates and enhancement modes depend on individual game support.

10,000mAh battery with 100W charging

The large battery supports 100W wired charging, 27W wired reverse charging and bypass charging for use while plugged in. Xiaomi’s endurance figures are laboratory claims, rather than results from our own testing.

Other features include a 50MP main rear camera, ultrasonic fingerprint recognition and dual speakers tuned with Bose. The Chinese model runs Xiaomi HyperOS 4 and comes in black, white and green.
