HONOR Malaysia just dropped its latest flagship foldable, the HONOR Magic V6, and it is easily one of the thinnest devices in its class. Folding down to just 8.75mm for the white version and around 9mm for the other color options, this phone opens up to a mere 4.0mm thickness while weighing around 219g.
To show that thin doesn’t mean fragile, HONOR went a bit wild before the launch by having the phone pull a 1.25-ton airplane for 150 meters, tow a supercar, and even act as a pull-up bar.

It survived without a scratch, setting an Asian record for the heaviest aircraft towed by a foldable phone. This durability comes down to the new Super Steel Hinge, which boasts a tensile strength of 2800MPa. The redesigned structure also cuts screen crease depth by 44% compared to the older Magic V5, earning an SGS certification for a smooth, nearly unnoticeable crease. Plus, it is the first foldable to clear both IP68 and IP69 dust and water resistance ratings.

On the display side, you get a 7.95-inch inner screen with an adaptive 1Hz-120Hz refresh rate and 4320Hz PWM dimming to keep your eyes comfortable. The 6.52-inch outer screen uses NanoCrystal Shield glass with 5600 layers of silicon nitride coating, boosting drop resistance by 10 times and scratch resistance by 15 times while keeping reflections down to 1.5% in bright sunlight.
Under the hood runs the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, making this the very first foldable to feature the 3nm chip. It handles heavy loads well thanks to an upgraded vapor chamber cooling system and supports smooth 120FPS gaming. Memory options go up to 16GB RAM paired with 1TB UFS 4.1 storage.

For photography, the rear setup features a 50MP main sensor with OIS, a 50MP ultra-wide lens, and a 64MP periscope telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom. It achieves a high CIPA stabilization rating of 6.5 stops. Both the inner and outer selfie cameras use 2000万像素 sensors. AI handles everything from color correction under complex lighting to composition suggestions.

Battery life looks promising with a 6660mAh silicon-carbon battery that supports 80W wired and 66W wireless fast charging. Using a 32% silicon-content tech, the battery packs plenty of energy density to get you through a full day of heavy use.
The device runs MagicOS 10 on top of Android 16, and HONOR is promising a solid seven major Android version updates. A neat surprise here is HONOR Connect, which lets the phone sync notifications two-ways with iPhones, iPads, and Apple Watches. Mac users can even use the inner screen as an extended secondary display, making it a surprisingly handy companion for anyone heavily invested in the Apple ecosystem.
The HONOR Magic V6 comes in Ferghana Red, Sunrise Gold, Ivory White, and Classic Black, and it already picked up a 2026 iF Design Award.

The HONOR Magic V6 (16GB+512GB) is priced at RM7,699, while the 16GB+1TB variant is priced at RM8,899. Pre-orders placed between June 4 and June 11 will come with generous free gifts, including a Skyworth 43-inch Google TV and two years of VIP Exclusive Services (which includes a 1-year screen crack warranty and a 2-year quality assurance warranty).

Also launched at the same event was the HONOR MagicPad 4 12.3, a top-tier flagship tablet that focuses on ultimate thinness and powerful productivity. It compresses its body thickness to an astonishing 4.8mm and features a 12.3-inch OLED productivity screen that supports a 165Hz adaptive high refresh rate and a 2400 nits peak brightness.
In terms of core specifications, it is powered by a Snapdragon 8-series flagship chip and an 8-speaker spatial audio system. Furthermore, it achieves an efficient office experience through MagicOS with its “one-click switch to PC mode”. Paired with a massive 10100 mAh battery, it perfectly balances the demanding needs of mobile creators for ultimate portability and versatile performance.

The HONOR MagicPad 4 (12GB+256GB, online exclusive) is priced at RM3,399, with pre-orders including free gifts worth up to RM1,517. The 16GB+512GB variant is priced at RM3,999, with total free gifts valued up to RM1,617.
