Celcom Life and MyDigi Apps to Be Discontinued by End of 2025 — Replaced by the New CelcomDigi App

Kuala Lumpur, 8 October 2025 — After years of operating separately, Celcom and Digi are finally merging their respective mobile apps into one unified platform. The newly launched CelcomDigi App will officially replace the existing Celcom Life and MyDigi apps by the end of this year.

A Unified Experience for Over 20 Million Customers

During the official launch event, CelcomDigi announced that the new all-in-one app is now available for all customers to download. The app enables users to register new numbers, pay monthly bills, purchase new devices, and subscribe to streaming services — all within a single interface.

The CelcomDigi app also integrates eKYC (electronic Know Your Customer) verification to ensure enhanced security and seamless access to third-party platforms that require national ID authentication.

Developed Based on 10 Million User Feedbacks

According to Albern Murthy, CEO of CelcomDigi, the development of the new app began soon after the Celcom and Digi merger in 2020.

“The CelcomDigi App was designed based on feedback from 10 million users, and today we proudly serve over 20 million customers,” said Murthy.
He added that more than 100,000 beta testers participated in the early testing phase to help refine the app’s user experience.

Launch Offers and Rewards for Users

To celebrate the app’s official rollout, CelcomDigi is offering exclusive promotions for users who download and log in to the new app, including:

  • RM1 for 100GB high-speed data

  • Discounted subscriptions for Disney+ Hotstar and Viu

  • Free cross-border data for 12 months

These limited-time rewards aim to encourage users to transition to the new app before the old ones are discontinued.

App Availability

The CelcomDigi App is now available for download on both Google Play Store and Apple App Store.

CelcomDigi also confirmed that a version for Huawei AppGallery is currently in development and will be released soon.

Both Celcom Life and MyDigi apps will officially cease operation on December 31, 2025.
