DJI has announced the Power Auro 2000 Elite portable power station in Malaysia at RM6,509. It combines roughly 2kWh of battery capacity and 2,000W sustained output with built-in car and solar charging modules, a retractable USB-C cable and two SDC ports.
The Malaysia press announcement was issued on 6 November 2026 and lists availability from 28 October through authorised DJI retailers. The announced price is a reference point; confirm the current selling price and package with your chosen retailer.
A smaller unit for mobile power
DJI says the Auro 2000 Elite is 24% smaller and 14% lighter than the Power 2000, weighing around 19kg. Ports are grouped on one side for access with the unit upright or on its side.
Its pure-sine-wave output is rated at up to 2,000W. Check both the total load and the requirements of individual appliances when planning a camping, filming or backup-power setup.
Five ways to recharge
Charging options include mains AC, a vehicle, solar, simultaneous solar and vehicle input, and AC combined with solar or vehicle input. Under DJI’s test conditions, AC charging at up to 2,000W takes around 60 minutes from empty to 80%.
DJI quotes a full vehicle recharge in as little as four hours. Solar input across the two SDC ports reaches up to 1,200W, with a quoted full-charge time of approximately 2.7 hours. Combined solar and vehicle charging allows up to 600W on each path. Actual speeds depend on the vehicle, panels, accessories and conditions.
Retractable 140W USB-C cable
The built-in USB-C cable supports PD 3.1 output up to 140W for compatible equipment such as laptops. Its cable module can be replaced separately. With the appropriate SDC cable, compatible DJI drone batteries can receive charging power up to 240W.
The unit uses lithium iron phosphate cells and connects to the DJI Home app for status checks and fast-charge settings. Future expansion batteries, sold separately, are intended to raise capacity up to 12kWh. Check the required accessories before comparing the cost of a complete setup.
