The vivo X Fold6, one of 2026’s flagship foldable smartphones focused on photography, has quietly gone on sale in Malaysia.
Following last night’s vivo X500 series launch event in Malaysia and globally, vivo Malaysia also began selling the highly anticipated X Fold6, which combines flagship imaging capabilities with a large foldable display.
In Malaysia, the vivo X Fold6 is available in a 12GB RAM + 512GB storage configuration, priced at RM8,299 during its first-sale promotion, down from the original retail price of RM8,699.
Customers who purchase the phone through the official vivo Malaysia online store will also receive a free AI face-tracking selfie tripod worth RM399, on top of the RM400 discount.

vivo X Fold6 Specifications and Features
The vivo X Fold6 features an 8.02-inch inner display and a 6.51-inch cover display, with both panels supporting a 120Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of up to 5,000 nits.
Under the hood, the foldable smartphone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 Super flagship chipset, paired with 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB of UFS 4.1 storage in the Malaysian variant. It runs OriginOS 7 Fold, based on Android 17.
Battery life is another key highlight. The device packs a 6,900mAh equivalent BlueVolt battery, supporting 80W wired charging and 40W wireless charging. This high-capacity battery is designed to support extended use, particularly for users who rely on the foldable phone for multitasking and productivity.
For photography, the vivo X Fold6 features a 200MP ZEISS main camera, alongside a 50MP ultra-wide camera and a 50MP telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom.
The phone also supports the external ZEISS Teleconverter G2 200mm accessory, which extends its telephoto capabilities for distant subjects.
On the productivity front, vivo has introduced Origin Workbench, which allows users to view one main task alongside four supporting tasks. Its Multi-Split Screen feature also supports up to four apps running simultaneously, reducing the need to switch between applications.
Durability is covered by IPX8 and IPX9 water-resistance ratings, as well as an IP5X dust-resistance rating.
