Nothing Phone (4b) Launches: Snapdragon 6 Gen 4, 6000mAh Battery, Redesigned Glyph Bar — Price Starts Around RM1,500

Nothing has officially launched the Nothing Phone (4b) today, marking the debut of its brand-new “b-series” — a lineup positioned below the existing a-series and aimed squarely at budget-conscious buyers.

The launch also effectively sees Nothing take over the entry-level segment that was previously handled by its sub-brand, CMF.

Under the hood, the Phone (4b) runs on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 chipset, built on a 4nm process, paired with 8GB of RAM as standard and storage options going up to 256GB.

It ships with Nothing OS 4.1, based on Android 16. Nothing is backing the device with three years of Android version updates and six years of security patches, a fairly generous support window for this price segment.

The display is a 6.77-inch FHD+ AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate, and battery capacity has been bumped up to 6000mAh with 33W fast charging — the largest battery Nothing has put in a phone so far.

Design-wise, the Nothing Phone (4b) keeps the brand’s signature transparent back but comes with a reworked Glyph interface. Instead of the more elaborate segmented Glyph pattern seen on earlier models, this one uses a slimmer horizontal light bar positioned just below the pill-shaped camera module.

On the camera front, there’s a 50MP main sensor with optical image stabilisation, plus a 16MP front camera for selfies.

The phone also comes with IP64 dust and splash resistance, an in-display fingerprint sensor, and stereo speakers.

As for pricing, the Phone (4b) starts at ₹34,999 in India  for the 8+128GB variant , undercutting the Phone (4a).

Nothing also released a limited-edition RCB (Royal Challengers Bengaluru) variant in red, celebrating the team’s back-to-back IPL titles — though this special edition is only available at Nothing’s Bengaluru store and won’t get a wider retail rollout.

Nothing ear (3a) also launches along side The Phone (4b). The 3a have a slightly larger 12nm driver compared to the 2a, and support LDAC and Hi-Res Audio Wireless. Prices remain the same as 2a at 99 euros.
