Apple iPhone 17, 17 Air, and 17 Pro: Full Specs, Colors, and Camera Upgrades Leaked
As the launch date draws closer, increasingly credible leaks about the upcoming Apple iPhone 17 series are emerging — and now, even physical mock-ups of all four models have surfaced online.
These latest images not only confirm many of the earlier design rumors but also give us the clearest look yet at what to expect from Apple’s 2025 flagship lineup.
The mock-up photos, shared by well-known leaker Sonny Dickson on X, showcase multiple color options for the iPhone 17 family. While it’s still unclear if these will be the exact colors available at launch, they provide a strong preview of Apple’s next-generation iPhones.
New Colors for iPhone 17 and Pro Models
For the iPhone 17 Pro lineup, the classic black and white options remain, joined by a striking new orange and a refined navy blue.
The standard iPhone 17 and the all-new iPhone 17 Air — which replaces the current Plus model — will feature more vibrant colors, including a shared light blue, plus exclusive pink and lemon green finishes.
Major Camera Redesign and Upgrades
The iPhone 17 Pro series is expected to ditch the long-standing “triple camera square” in favor of a horizontal camera bar reminiscent of the Google Pixel. The flash and LiDAR scanner will be moved to the right side of the module.
A major highlight is the rumored 48MP telephoto lens with a movable design, enabling up to 8x optical zoom — a significant leap from the 5x zoom on the iPhone 16 Pro Max. This could be a game-changer for long-range photography and professional video work.
Apple may also debut a new “Pro Camera” app exclusive to Pro models, offering advanced manual controls, simultaneous front-and-rear recording, and even 8K video capture, making it a powerful tool for vloggers and creators.
On the front, all iPhone 17 models are tipped to get a 24MP selfie camera — doubling the resolution from last year, promising sharper video calls and higher-quality selfies.

For the first time, 120Hz ProMotion adaptive refresh rate technology will come to all iPhone 17 models, not just the Pro lineup, ensuring smoother visuals across the board.
However, the Pro models will have an edge with a new anti-reflective, scratch-resistant display technology, boosting both durability and outdoor visibility.
Under the hood, the iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max are expected to feature Apple’s A19 Pro chip built on TSMC’s latest 3nm process, delivering major gains in speed and efficiency. Pro models will also get 12GB of RAM, improving multitasking and AI-driven Apple Intelligence features.
Some reports suggest the Pro models may introduce a vapor chamber cooling system similar to Samsung’s Galaxy S25 Ultra, helping with sustained performance during gaming and heavy workloads.
The New iPhone 17 Air
Replacing the Plus variant, the new iPhone 17 Air is rumored to focus on ultra-thin design, weighing around 145g with a slim 5.5mm profile — potentially the lightest and thinnest large-screen iPhone to date.
Faster Connectivity with Wi-Fi 7
Another exclusive for the Pro models could be Apple’s first in-house Wi-Fi 7 chip, offering faster speeds, lower latency, and more stable wireless connections.
