vivo V70 Launches in Malaysia: ZEISS Triple Camera, 6,500mAh Battery

vivo has officially launched the vivo V70 in the Malaysian market . It was launched in India not long ago.

On the design front, the V70 sports an aerospace-grade aluminum alloy frame with AG scratch-resistant glass on the back, keeping things slim and premium. 3 colour options are available: Golden Hour, Alpine Gray,  and Authentic Black.

The Golden Hour colorway in particular is very eye-catching, featuring a sun-rise pattern across the whole backplate.

The front features a flat 6.59-inch 1.5K LTPS AMOLED display running at 120Hz with a peak brightness of 5,000 nits and ultra-slim 1.2mm bezels.

Camera is once again a highlight, with vivo continuing its longstanding ZEISS partnership. The rear triple camera system consists of a 50MP ZEISS main camera using the Sony LYT-700V sensor, a 50MP ZEISS Super Telephoto Camera with OIS powered by the Sony IMX882 sensor, and an 8MP ultra-wide lens.

The setup supports 4K 60fps video recording, along with AI Stage Mode, AI Magic Landscape, and AI Retouch. The front camera is a 50MP shooter.

Under the hood sits a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset paired with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage — a notable step up from its predecessor.

The fingerprint sensor has also been upgraded from optical to ultrasonic in-display for better accuracy. The V70 carries both IP68 and IP69 ratings and has passed SGS’s five-star drop test.

Battery-wise, the phone packs a 6,500mAh BlueVolt cell with 90W FlashCharge support.

It ships with OriginOS 6 out of the box, introducing the Origin Smooth Engine for sustained performance, as well as Origin Island — a dynamic notification capsule at the top of the screen.

The OS also supports cross-device file transfer, including with iPhones.

In Malaysia, the vivo V70 8+256GB is priced at RM1999 ; 12+256GB at RM2199; and 12+512GB at RM2599.

Pre-orders placed on or before March 13th will receive generous gifts, including Au999 pure gold foil, vivo Buds, Momoyo fragrance sheets, an additional 1-year warranty, 180-day screen breakage warranty, and a chance to win prizes at Pop Mart.
