OnePlus officially unveiled the OnePlus 15T in China on March 24, 2026, positioning it as the most well-rounded compact flagship on the market today. The device aims to prove that a small form factor no longer means compromising on performance, battery life, or camera capability.
Pricing starts at CNY 4,299 (approximately RM2,184) for the base 12GB+256GB variant, with the price dropping to CNY 3,799 after China’s national subsidy program is applied. The lineup tops out at the 16GB+1TB configuration priced at CNY 5,699 (approximately RM3,277).

At the heart of the OnePlus 15T is Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, built on a 3nm process and featuring the third-generation Qualcomm Oryon CPU in a 2+6 all-big-core configuration clocked at up to 4.6GHz. Paired with a new Adreno GPU boasting 18MB of dedicated high-speed cache, the chip delivers serious graphical muscle.
OnePlus’ proprietary HyperBoost Gaming Engine pushes the device’s AnTuTu benchmark score past 4.45 million — a record for compact smartphones.
In gaming, the 15T supports native 165fps across six major mobile game genres including MOBA, fighting, and racing titles, maintaining that frame rate even under sustained load.

Thermal performance has historically been a weak point for small-screen phones, and OnePlus addresses this with a custom IceCooling System featuring a vapor chamber area of 5,150mm² — the largest ever fitted in a compact handset. The company also introduced an industry-first VC pressure-retention bonding technique, squeezing more cooling surface area out of the limited internal space to sustain peak performance over extended sessions.
The 6.32-inch 1.5K flat display uses flagship-grade OLED emitter materials with improvements across brightness, color accuracy, power efficiency, and longevity. It supports a proprietary full-brightness color appearance model and OnePlus’ SunlightDisplay technology for clear outdoor visibility, alongside true hardware 1nit dimming for comfortable nighttime viewing without color distortion.

On the camera side, the 15T features a 50MP Sony IMX906 large-sensor primary camera with OIS and omnidirectional phase-detection autofocus. The headline addition for a compact device is a 50MP 3.5x periscope telephoto lens with an 85mm portrait-equivalent focal length, supporting 7x lossless optical zoom. The front camera is a 16MP shooter. AI-powered features include AI Portrait Lighting, AI Group Shot enhancement, and AI Bystander Removal.

Despite its compact 194g chassis, the OnePlus 15T houses a 7,500mAh battery — an impressive feat of engineering — backed by 100W wired fast charging and 50W wireless charging. The device carries a full IP66/IP68/IP69/IP69K water resistance rating, and its Snapdragon X85 modem ensures reliable global multi-band 5G connectivity.
OnePlus has yet to announce a Malaysian or global release date for the 15T. Interested buyers can keep an eye on OnePlus’ official channels for updates.
