HONOR has officially launched the HONOR Power2 in China, marking the brand’s second smartphone to break the 10,000 mAh battery threshold.
Following closely on the heels of last week’s HONOR WIN series, the Power2 is being positioned as an “outdoor light flagship.” According to HONOR executives, this new device is specifically engineered to address the practical challenges faced by outdoor professionals, such as delivery couriers and surveyors, focusing on solving persistent issues like battery anxiety, signal instability, and hardware durability to set a new technical standard in the mid-range market.

The defining feature of the HONOR Power2 is its massive 10,080 mAh Qinghai Lake battery, which boasts an impressive energy density of 926Wh/L. Despite the enormous capacity, HONOR has managed to maintain a slim profile with a thickness of just 7.98mm and a weight of 216g, successfully challenging the industry norm that long-battery smartphones must be bulky.
To complement this, the device supports 80W super-fast charging and 27W reverse charging, allowing it to act as a power bank for other equipment in emergency outdoor situations.

Communication reliability is a core pillar of the Power2, which features the Hongyan Six-Wing Antenna and the self-developed C1+ RF enhancement chip. Internal testing indicates significant optimizations in call stability and internet connectivity within weak-signal environments like elevators and tunnels, with network recovery times reduced to milliseconds.
The device’s multi-source fusion positioning engine has earned it dual five-star certifications for strong elevator signals and precision navigation from China’s State Radio Monitoring Center.

Under the hood, the HONOR Power2 debuts the Dimensity 8500 Elite chipset, supported by a massive cooling system exceeding 40,000 square millimeters to ensure stable performance under heavy loads.
Built for durability, the phone carries IP68, IP69, and IP69K ratings for dust and water resistance and has passed the SGS Gold Standard Five-Star drop-resistance certification, featuring a reinforced structural design for harsh environments.

Rounding out the specifications is a 6.79-inch 1.5K OLED eye-protection display that reaches a peak brightness of 8,000 nits, ensuring complete legibility even under direct sunlight. The camera system is anchored by a 50MP main sensor with Optical Image Stabilization, and the device runs on the latest MagicOS 10 operating system. While the HONOR Power2 is currently priced starting at approximately RM 1,570 in China, there is currently no word on an international release.
