The Tesla Model 3 has received a Malaysian equipment update without a price increase, bringing a larger 16-inch touchscreen, a black headliner and support for V2L Powershare. The range still starts at RM149,000, with four variants listed on Tesla Malaysia’s configurator.

Tesla Model 3 Malaysia prices remain unchanged

Variant Starting vehicle price
Model 3 Rear-Wheel Drive RM149,000
Model 3 Premium Rear-Wheel Drive RM171,000
Model 3 Premium Long Range Rear-Wheel Drive RM187,000
Model 3 Performance All-Wheel Drive RM232,000

These are the starting vehicle prices displayed by Tesla, before paid options and any applicable additional charges. The update holds the existing price points rather than introducing a new discount.

Bigger touchscreen and refreshed cabin options

The central display grows from 15.4 inches to 16 inches, while a black headliner replaces the previous lighter finish. Tesla’s Malaysian specifications now list the larger screen even for the entry-level Rear-Wheel Drive model.

The cabin options also gain Zen Grey in place of the previous Black and White treatment, while 19-inch Dark Nova wheels join the options. These choices depend on the variant: the entry model retains its fixed black interior and 18-inch Prismata wheels.

V2L support, with an adapter sold separately

V2L Powershare allows compatible external electrical equipment to draw power from the vehicle. The required adapter is a separate purchase; Malaysian pricing and availability have yet to be announced. Buyers should therefore distinguish vehicle support from an included, ready-to-use accessory.

The update also extends the larger display, dark headliner and V2L support to the most affordable Model 3. Local reporting describes the changes as an equipment refresh, with the existing powertrains retained.

Entry model lists 572km WLTP range

Tesla’s current Malaysian page quotes 572km of WLTP range for the entry Rear-Wheel Drive model, together with a 6.2-second 0–100km/h time and 175kW maximum Supercharging. These are official specifications, with actual range and charging performance dependent on conditions.

Orders can be configured through Tesla Malaysia’s website. Customers with an existing order or considering inventory stock should confirm the specific vehicle’s equipment before delivery.
