vivo held its X Series Spring Launch Event in Lijiang, Yunnan today, officially unveiling the vivo X300 Ultra alongside the X300s and the vivo Pad 6 Pro tablet. Both smartphones go on sale April 3.
Design & Display

The X300 Ultra cuts a slim profile at just 8.19mm thick, with a signature large circular camera module on the rear and a cleaner look thanks to the removal of the physical shutter button from its predecessor. The phone comes in three colourways — a new dual-tone Film Green, Black, and Silver — with storage configurations ranging from 12GB+256GB up to 16GB+1TB, the latter of which adds Beidou satellite messaging support.

Up front is a 6.82-inch 2K OLED display by BOE, featuring LTPO adaptive refresh from 1 to 144Hz and a peak brightness of over 4,000 nits. This is also vivo’s first display to carry Zeiss Master Color Screen certification, with support for Ultra XDR and 2160Hz high-frequency PWM dimming down to 1nit for more comfortable night-time viewing.
Performance
Under the hood sits Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, paired with LPDDR5X Ultra RAM and UFS 4.1 storage, scoring over 4 million points on AnTuTu, backed by a 10,000mm² cooling system combining a large vapour chamber and graphene materials to sustain performance during extended video recording sessions.
Camera System

The real headline is the camera system. vivo calls it a “Zeiss 3+2” five-lens architecture — three main shooters plus two extender lenses.
The primary shooter uses the world-first Sony LYTIA 901 (LYT-901) 200MP sensor with a 1/1.12-inch sensor size, 35mm equivalent focal length, CIPA 6.5-stop OIS, and 30% more light intake over its predecessor.
The telephoto is equally impressive, packing a 200MP Samsung HP0 sensor at 1/1.4 inches and 85mm physical focal length with CIPA 7.0-stop OIS — among the highest in the industry — alongside a new BluOS High-Refresh Tracking Autofocus Engine for fast-moving subjects.
Rounding out the trio is a 50MP Sony LYTIA 818 ultrawide with the largest ultrawide sensor in its class at 1/1.28 inches, 14mm equivalent, CIPA 6.0-stop OIS, and autofocus support. A dedicated 5MP multispectral lens further aids colour accuracy, skin tone rendering, and white balance across all shots.
Video
Video capabilities are equally aggressive. All focal lengths support 4K 120fps 10-bit Log recording, 4K 120fps Dolby Vision, 4K 120fps cinematic slow motion, and 4K 60fps portrait video. Custom 3D LUT real-time monitoring and Film Style and Film Look colour profiles round out a feature set that rivals dedicated cinema cameras.

vivo also offer a professional photography kit, including a Zeiss Telephoto Extender Gen 2 Ultra 400mm lens and a 200mm “lipstick” extender, achieving up to 17.4x pure optical zoom and an equivalent reach of approximately 3,000mm. The kit also bundles a camera grip with a built-in 2300mAh battery supporting 55W fast charging, a shoulder strap, and a carrying bag.
Battery & Everything Else

Powering the X300 Ultra is a 6,600mAh battery with 100W wired and 40W wireless charging.
Other highlights include IP68/IP69 dual water resistance, a 1697 upward-firing speaker with a 0.8cc cavity, a quad-mic array, a 751440 haptic motor, and a new rear tap gesture for quick access to silent mode, flashlight, and screen recognition.
The phone ships with OriginOS 6 based on Android 16, and for the first time supports cross-ecosystem connectivity with Apple devices, allowing iPhone calls and notifications to be handled directly on the X300 Ultra.

vivo X300s joins the X300 Ultra as the “SuperMax” standard flagship, built for users who want a no-compromise daily driver without stepping up to Ultra pricing. It runs on MediaTek’s Dimensity 9500 chip with vivo’s BluOS V3+ imaging chip, and sports a 6.78-inch 1.5K BOE Q10 Plus OLED display — the first in the X Series to hit 144Hz. The triple camera setup includes a 200MP Zeiss main shooter, a periscope telephoto, and an ultrawide, with support for the Zeiss 200mm lipstick extender for extra reach.
Battery life is the X300s’ standout feature — its 7,100mAh Blue Ocean cell is the largest ever in an X Series device, backed by 90W wired and 40W wireless charging. Entertainment-wise, it packs a 1511 symmetric dual-speaker setup and a 751440 haptic motor with 4D vibration support for over ten major mobile titles. USB 3.2, 3D ultrasonic in-display fingerprint 2.0, and IP68/IP69 dual water resistance round out a well-specced package. The X300s is available in Film Green, Purple, White, and Black.
