Redmi Note 15 Series Arrives in Malaysia: 200MP Camera and Massive Batteries Starting from RM 749

Xiaomi Malaysia has officially unveiled the Redmi Note 15 series, bringing four distinct models to the local market in a launch that mirrors the lineup recently seen in India. The new collection includes the Redmi Note 15 5G, the Redmi Note 15 Pro 5G, the Redmi Note 15 Pro+ 5G, and an online-exclusive Redmi Note 15 4G, with prices starting from a highly competitive RM 749.

The new series emphasizes durability and sophisticated design, featuring dual-curved bodies across the three primary models.

Reliability is a key focus, as the standard 5G model carries an IP65 rating for dust and water resistance, while the Pro+ variant reaches an impressive IP68/IP69K certification. These devices are further bolstered by a reinforced structure designed to withstand accidental drops.

Xiaomi is so confident in The Pros’ protection that they are giving away free 2 years accidental damage warranty that cover liquid/screen and back cover damage worth RM750 with their first sale.

For the display, Xiaomi has utilized high-quality AMOLED panels measuring between 6.77 and 6.83 inches. These screens support a 120Hz refresh rate and reach a peak brightness of 3200 nits, incorporating 3840Hz high-frequency PWM dimming to ensure eye comfort during late-night use.

Performance is tailored across the tiers to meet different user needs. The Redmi Note 15 5G is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 for reliable daily tasks, while the Pro model steps up to the MediaTek Dimensity 7400-Ultra for enhanced multitasking. The flagship Pro+ model utilizes the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 processor.

All devices come pre-installed with the latest HyperOS 2 and a promise of four years of system updates.

In the camera department, the standard 5G model features a 108MP MasterPixel main sensor with Optical Image Stabilization, while the Pro and Pro+ models are equipped with a massive 200MP main camera capable of high-magnification lossless zoom and superior low-light performance.

Battery life remains a standout feature for the Redmi Note series. The standard 5G model houses a 5520mAh battery with 45W Turbo Charging, while the Pro model packs a significantly larger 6580mAh battery. The Pro+ variant pairs a 6500mAh battery with 100W high-power fast charging to minimize downtime. Additionally, the series supports wired reverse charging to act as a power bank for other devices.

The online-exclusive Redmi Note 15 4G serves as the entry point, featuring a MediaTek Helio G100-Ultra processor, a 6000mAh battery with 33W charging, and the removal of the ultra-wide lens to maintain its affordable price point.

Pricing for the premium Redmi Note 15 Pro+ 5G starts at RM 1,699 for the 12GB+256GB version. During the promotional period, the 12GB+512GB variant is also priced at RM 1,699, allowing customers to double their storage for free.
