POCO C85 Launched in Malaysia, Starting from RM439

POCO has officially introduced its latest device, the POCO C85, to the Malaysian market. Continuing the direction of the C Series, the new model is designed to balance everyday communication, entertainment, and aesthetic appeal, with a focus on reliability and user-friendly features.

Design and Display

The POCO C85 features an aurora-inspired segmented back panel that reflects shifting light effects. Despite housing a large 6000mAh (typ) battery, the device maintains a slim form factor with a quad-curved back for comfortable handling. A decorative volcanic pattern and glossy glass finish add to its premium look.

On the front, the smartphone sports a 6.9-inch HD+ display with 120Hz AdaptiveSync, capable of switching between 60Hz, 90Hz, and 120Hz depending on usage. The display is TÜV Rheinland-certified for Low Blue Light (software solution), Flicker Free, and Circadian Friendly standards. It also supports DC Dimming and Wet Touch 2.0, ensuring smooth usage even with wet fingers.

Battery and Charging

The POCO C85 is equipped with a 6000mAh battery, supporting 33W fast charging, which charges up to 50% in around 31 minutes. The battery is designed to retain over 80% of its capacity after 1,000 full charge cycles. Additionally, it offers 10W reverse charging, allowing the device to act as a power bank.

Performance and Software

Powered by the MediaTek Helio G81-Ultra, the device delivers efficient performance for daily tasks. It supports up to 16GB RAM (with memory extension) and up to 1TB expandable storage. Running on Xiaomi HyperOS 2, it includes Circle to Search with Google, Google Gemini, and Xiaomi Interconnectivity features such as call sync and shared clipboard.

Camera and Other Features

The POCO C85 is equipped with a 50MP main camera and an 8MP front camera with beauty mode for selfies. Other features include a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, a 3.5mm headphone jack, 200% volume boost, and an IP64 rating for dust and water resistance.
